Fashion Mexico

It’s been a while since my last post and that because Valeria and I’ve been so busy lately. A lot has happened in these last few months. First, we’re seniors now, which means that there is this pressure of getting good grades and planning a major part of your future. Second, I totally changed my look, as you can see I cut my hair about 15 centimeters. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, but I was never really sure, until yesterday that I had this sudden thought of doing it, so I did. Personally I think my hair looks way better that it did before. And third, tomorrow it’s my 17th birthday, and it’s crazy how fast the year has blown by. Also fall is here and I couldn’t be more exited for my favorite season ever!

Here in Monterrey is still pretty hot compared to other places, but I feel like my outfit is a really good way to transition form summer to fall without going directly to sweaters and coats. For this look I putted together a plain white top with a statement necklace, some ripped jeans, heels and my favorite sleeveless coat. Sleeveless coats have been really trendy during the summer and you can count on them for fall. What I love about them is that they totally dress up an effortless outfit and makes it look so fashionable.

Also, yesterday I purchased a new phone case that you can see below. I fell in love with it, of course because it’s very pretty, but also because it’s handmade by a Mexican Industrial Designer, called Ana Tere Canales. Supporting local artists is such important and easy thing to do. Sometimes we forget that our help, as littles as it can be, could help a lot.

I promise to keep you updated with all the changes to come. Have an awesome week!
